Do you ever find yourself with a surplus of fruits and veggies that you just can't seem to eat in time? Well, fear not, my smoothie-loving friends, because we have the perfect solution for you! Introducing the smoothie hack that will revolutionise your mornings.

Start by whizzing up different flavour combinations based on the produce you have left over. Freeze it into convenient ice cubes, and voila! You'll have the perfect smoothie for when you're in a rush. We've put together our favourite combination and made some more flavour suggestions below.

Ingredients For Smoothie Base

  • 1 chopped apple
  • 1 banana
  • 2 chopped feijoas
  • 1 handful of spinach
  • 150ml of water (add more if needed)

Instructions For Smoothie Cubes

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Pour the mixture into a large silicone ice cube tray and place it in the freezer.
  3. Once the cubes are frozen, transfer them to a freezer bag for storage.

Instructions For Makings The SmoothiE

  1. Take 3 frozen smoothie cubes and place them in a blender.
  2. Add 200ml of your favourite milk (we recommend oat milk for a creamy texture).
  3. Add a spoonful of peanut butter.
  4. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  5. Pour into a glass and enjoy your delicious smoothie!
