Meet the three ingredient, no bake dessert recipe perfect for when sweet cravings strike.

This Mandarin Chocolate Fudge is a fun way to use any of your wonky citrus like mandarins, oranges or tangelos. This dessert is similiar to chocolate bark, but with a denser and more indulgent chocolate and condensed milk base - yum!

We've used mandarins this time, as the small segments are just perfect for little bursts of citrus flavour to compliment the creamy chocolate.

Store a batch in the fridge over the week, and snack on as needed (if you don't eat it all in one go like us!!)

INGREDIENTS:

  • 500g Milk Chocolate
  • 1 can condensed milk (395g)
  • 4-5 mandarins

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Line a 12x25cm loaf tin with baking paper.
  2. Peel the mandarins and break into segments. Arrange the segments in a single layer over the base of the prepared loaf tin, being sure to cover the entire base of the tin with mandarins.
  3. Chop or break the chocolate into smaller pieces. Add the chopped chocolate & condensed milk into a large microwave safe bowl and melt in the microwave for 2 minutes, pausing and stirring halfway through. If the mixture isn’t completely melted, place back in the microwave for a further 20-30 seconds.
  4. Pour the fudge over the mandarins and use a spatula to smooth it out into an even layer.
  5. Transfer to the fridge to set for 5- 6 hours.
  6. Remove from the fridge and cut into 15 chunks. Store in the fridge for up to 3 days in an airtight container.
